10. Dragon Ball

He is the protagonist of the story who aims to collect the 7 dragon balls. Collecting the said dragon balls would make the wish granting dragon show up that would grant three wishes for the person who collected them. These enemies are also trying to get the dragon balls. But Goku must prevent them, as they will use the wishes for their evil plans.
This is another successful anime series that is based on a manga series. It was written by Masashi Kishimoto and was first published in 1997 while the TV series was first aired in 2002. Follow the story of Naruto as he chases his dream to become the next Hokage. This is the strongest ninja and the leader of his village. He is joined with Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno in his training. Together they form Team 7, in which they need to complete missions and tasks to move to the next level until they become full pledged ninjas.
Bleach was based on a Japanese manga series of the same name, which was written by Tite Kubo. It was first seen on TV in 2001. Follow the adventure of Ichigo Kurosaki as a soul reaper saving people from evil forces and guiding spirits to the afterlife. Rukia Kuchiki is a soul reaper who guides the spirits of those who died to the afterlife. Hunter X Hunter is also a Japanese manga series that was released in 1998. It had its first TV adaptation in 2002. The main protagonist of the story is Gon; a 12-year-old boy who was living with his aunt and was told that his parents were dead since he was a baby. But he learned that his father, Ging, was still alive and became a Hunter. Hunters are licensed individuals that are skilled in treasure hunting, tracking unique animal species, as well as finding people. Gon decided to find his father and become a hunter himself. The hunter examination was not easy to pass. He would face various challenges that would test his skills and teamwork. He meets three other characters along the way that would become his friends. They are Killua, Kurapika and Leorio, who each have their own reasons for joining the hunter exam.

5. One Piece
This is a Japanese manga series written by Eiichiro Oda since 1997. The first episode for the TV adaptation was released in 1999. The main protagonist of the series is Monkey D. Luffy. He is a young boy that has the ability to stretch his body like a rubber. He got this ability after accidentally eating a devil’s fruit. Follow him, together with his Straw Hat Pirates crew as they search for One Piece, which is known as the ultimate world’s treasure. But this will not be easy as there are also other pirate crews that are after the treasure. Watch them as they fight their battles against the enemies to find the missing treasure.
This is a Japanese manga series written by Kozueko Morimoto. A TV drama adaptation was first released in 2002, before a TV anime series adaptation was made in 2004. The main protagonist of the story is Kumiko Yamaguchi or also called Yankumi. She had always wanted to become a teacher, which came true when she was hired on a private school for boys. The boys on his class were considered delinquents by the school. However, Yankumi was dedicated in teaching the students not only about Math but about life as well. As the students get into various fights, Yankumi was there to save them; as unknown to everyone in the school, she is actually the next boss of Kuroda Ikka, which is a Yakuza group.
3. Detective Conan
This is another Japanese manga series that was made into a TV series. It was written by Gosho Aoyama and followed the life of Jimmy Kudo. Jimmy is a 17-year-old detective that helps the police in investigating and solving their cases. He was attacked by two members of a syndicate and was forced to take a drug that was meant to kill him. However, instead of dying, he turned into a little boy. To reverse the effect of the poison, he needed to find the syndicate that did this to him. This is with the help of Hiroshi Agasa, a scientist who creates various gadgets used by detectives. He is also the only person that knows about Jimmy’s secret, who changed his name to Conan Edogawa. He enrolled to an elementary school and formed the Junior Detective League.
2. Yamato Nadeshiko Sichi Henge
This manga series was written by Tomoko Hayakawa and was adapted as a live action series, as well as an anime series. The main protagonist of the story is Sunako. After confessing her love to a guy she likes, she was turned down and called ugly. Because of this, she thought of herself as ugly and did not want to be with others, especially beautiful people. Her aunt was concerned of her so she asked the four pretty boys that were renting on her mansion to transform her niece into a real lady. The boys agreed in exchange of a free rent. Light is a high school student who wants to remove all evils in the world. He found a powerful notebook, called the Death Note, which grants the owner the power to kill someone by following the specific rules written on it. Follow Light as he tries to free the world from evil and reign a new world as God. But this will not be easy as the famous detective, known as L, will be there to stop him.
