ScatterGate

Gateway between ScatterWeb and all kinds of networks

The ScatterWeb ScatterGate provides the full featured gateway between the ScatterWeb sensor network and other networks or computing devices. Using ScatterWeb Routing, the ScatterGate allows data gathering from the sensor network as well as sending configuration commands to single nodes or to larger groups. A single ScatterGate can handle up to 256 nodes. To build larger networks, ScatterGates can be clustered.

The ScatterGate is available in different configurations providing the following network interfaces:

  • Interface to 868 MHz ScatterWeb sensor network

  • Optional: Ethernet

  • Optional: GSM/GPRS (SMS and TCP/IP)

  • USB interface (client)

  • serial interface (RS232)

    The ScatterGate software automatically detects active interfaces and connects them with the ScatterWeb sensor network interface. The ScatterMonitor PC software can be used for visualization and management of the ScatterWeb network. For custom integration development, a ScatterGate SDK is available on request. The ScatterGate comes with an external power supply.
